Hebrew School
Grades Pre K/K, Alef through Vav (grades Prek/k-6) meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and Daled through Vav (grades 4-6) Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
The curriculum encompasses Jewish Holidays, Bible stories, Hebrew Reading, Prayers, Tzedakah (Charity), Israel, American Jewish History, Music with the Rabbi, and Israeli Dance.
Throughout the year, the classes are visited by the Israeli Emissaries. (The Emissaries are Israeli high school graduates who come here for one year to share their culture with our students.)
Once a year, each class participates in a parent and student workshop. The grade level workshops include: Mezzuzah Making, Torah Making, Havdallah Candle Making, and Shofar Making.
On Wednesday afternoons, the classes meet with the Rabbi for Tefillah: a brief service in the sanctuary.
